Creativity may be the greatest gift. Writing a script, building a crew and seeing a film through is fulfillment that nothing else compares to.
As a freelancer, I tend to work as a Production Assistant or Grip which also keeps my creative eye up to par.
Education and Expertise
I received my B.A. from the University of Missouri in May of 2022. There, I majored in Film Production with a minor in Digital Storytelling and Theatre.
After graduation, I received guidance from mentors and encouragement from friends and family to continue my education. I currently attend the University of Central Arkansas in pursuit of my M.F.A. in directing and writing.
Not too long ago during a job interview for a feature film, I was asked why I want to be on set. The only term that comes to mind is to be a sponge. My long term goal is to be a professor which is my primary encouragement for graduate school. This will allow me to combine two of my favorite things, filmmaking and teaching. In order to be the best maker and teacher of film possible, I need to fully understand the industry and absorb everything it has to offer.
